A variety of active and passive modalities are used to address injuries or imbalanced in the body. Relaxation and therapeutic techniques are combined to create a balanced treatment that gets results.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will I be sore after my massage?

It is possible that you will experience some discomfort following a deep tissue treatment. Typically this soreness will be similar to that of a moderate workout at the gym and should go away within a day or two. This is a normal response for tissue under repair. If necessary you will be provided with additional home care instructions to manage these symptoms. It is important to keep moving by continuing your day-to-day activities as this will help with your recovery overall.

What should I wear to my appointment?

You don’t have to wear or bring any special clothing with you. Whatever it is you wear during a normal day will be fine. For the massage portion of your visit you will be instructed to remove only those garments that are necessary. However, you are always encouraged to only disrobe to your comfort level. You will be effectively draped with linens no matter what and your therapist is trained to work with you to create a safe and comfortable working environment. Even if you prefer to remain fully clothed during your massage you will still be provided with an effective treatment.

Do I have to wear a mask during my massage?

No, this is no longer a requirement. If you are have a compromised immune system or are at high risk of infection you are encouraged to continue wearing a mask for the duration of your appointment. To support your safety and comfort levels your practitioner will continue to use PPE as needed. All protocols surrounding Covid-19 are subject to sudden change.
